About Caroline Walsh-Waring
I now live in Frome in Somerset with my husband, 2 children, 2 black Labradors and 2 cats. Over the 11 years of our marriage we have moved from London, to Jersey in the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and for 6 months in Meare, near Glastonbury and to Frome in January 2009.
Since moving back to the mainland life has really taken off for all of us, my husband has started a new business as an Independent Financial Advisor, the children are settled very happily into local schools and I seem to be busier than ever with painting and exhibitions which is great but very time consuming!
There is a wealth of artistic talent not just in Somerset but particularly in Frome, it seems to be a real hub for the arts and as a result I have joined two local art groups. The Cloth Road Artists Group (www.clothroadartists.com) who I will be exhibiting with from 1st - 9th May this year in Semington, near Trowbridge in Wiltshire and also the Frome Creative Network (www.fromecreativenetwork.org.uk) with whom I will be exhibiting in July this year as part of The Frome Festival Artists Open Studios. Plus I am currently exhibiting at The Angel Inn, Upton Scudamore. Earlier this year I set up an exhibition in conjunction with Frome Selwood Rotary Club in aid of Polio Awareness.
So there is a lot going on. My only difficulty is trying to find enough time to get everything done.
